Nordic Colored Glass Chandelier

A single hand painted glass shade hangs from a slim cord on an iron fitting. The colored glass filters the light into a focused warm pool below while glowing softly at the shade itself.

Design and materials

The painted glass shade comes in amber, red, blue, coffee, gray, or clear, each on a plain iron fitting that keeps the shade dominant. Its compact Nordic form suits Scandinavian, modern, and cafe style interiors.

Where it works

Each shade lights a 3 to 5 square meter area, so a single unit works beside a bed or in a corridor and a run of three suits a kitchen island, dining table, or cafe counter. Mix amber and coffee for a warmer scheme, or keep to gray and clear where the surrounding cabinetry already carries the color.
